10 Signs of a Cheating Spouse

If your spouse is cheating on you, you deserve the truth! Here are ten signs that something illicit is happening behind your back.

Your spouse comes home with little tokens of affection, or presents they seem to care very much about. If they don’t have a good reason for why that present was given to them, you need to know who thought enough of them to give it – and why they care so much about it in particular.

Your partner takes trips out of town without you. Maybe you were invited on your spouse’s business trips in the past, but now they want to go alone. What is their reasoning for such an abrupt change?

They get flustered when you stop by the office unexpectedly. They never know when you might cross paths with their lover, so they want to keep you as far away from the workplace as possible.

Your spouse doesn’t answer their cell phone during times when you know they should be available.

Your lovemaking has gone downhill, and you don’t have a good reason why. Are they getting it somewhere else?

The same goes for time spent with you. Instead of cuddling at night, your partner now stays up very late on the internet, or gets up long before you do and makes sure to get out the door before you’ve had your morning coffee.
They may beg off on having extra work, but if that’s true, the work should be caught up soon. When it’s not, something is up.

That’s when you start to ask why your spouse is working so late. Is that much overtime really necessary? And if they claim it is, make sure it shows up on their paycheck.

Where are they going when they have fun? Perhaps they are out with friends and assured you they would have their cell phone, but you can’t get them for hours. When they do call you back, they are irritated that you called them. What were they really doing?

You smell a new scent on their clothes. When you ask how someone else’s cologne or perfume got there, they don’t seem to have any idea how it happened – or they claim you’re paranoid.

You drop a name and your spouse flinches. If you suspect a particular person is your spouse’s new flame, simply ask, “Who is_______?” Watch what happens as your spouse flounders for words. If they are wary, angry, worried or scared, you have your answer.
